Rexine Boothe teaches this class of women ages 60-69, give or take. Her assistant is Debbie Todaro. Rexine began teaching this class long before the current church was built, back when it was located on Latimer Street in Bellmead. Rexine figures she has been teaching this class about 12 yrs., give or take a year as she doesn’t remember the exact year she started.

Rexine says of her class, “The Sonshine group is a loving, cheerful group of ladies, always smiling. So I thought of Sunshine but as that happiness come from God‘s Son I changed it to Sonshine. We hope He shines forth from our lives. It is a generously giving and outgoing class.”

Of the ladies in her class she had this to say, “I love them! They are a joy to teach. They are encouraging and complimentary to me.”

She feels any lady would enjoy being in her class and they would love to have them.
