For the last 14 years, Chery Bailey has taught this class of 9 & 10 year old girls. She knows she has an awesome responsibility in teaching these girls. Chery says of the girls, “They’re such a joy and blessing at this age. Everything I tell them they soak in, so I pray for God to teach the lesson through me.” Her goal is to teach them God truly loves them as they are and that they have access to Him through Jesus Christ as their Savior. 

Chery’s assistant for the last three years is Aline McDonald and says of her, “I have a wonderful assistant who lends a good stability to the class.” Together they show the girls how they need to behave as Christian girls and express to them the need to carry that behavior over to those critical teen years.

Chery and Aline are both ever faithful, therefore the girls know who will be there on Sunday morning. That faithfulness assures the girls Chery and Aline are there for them. An atmosphere of unconditional love and trust encourages the girls in that they can confide in Chery, Aline, and the class whatever has transpired over the previous week in their young lives.

If you make a visit to BCBC, and have a girl 9 or 10, Chery,  Aline, and the girls will gladly welcome her to the class.
